ADDITIONAL BRANDING ELEMENTS 

To adjust brand elements for different formats and media, and intensify the power of naval battles, use the additional branding elements. Additional branding elements must only be used with the main graphic elements of the project. All additional branding elements can be used in various combinations.

 

HOLE

The penetration element is used with the key-art or any other World of Warships illustration. The penetration can be used as a graphic hint and facilitates a smooth transition to different textures or fill colors that can be applied when creating layout sheets.

 

 

PATTERN

To ensure the logo is easily recognized and readable on any background, a special method of darkening the logo or the identity block area with a texture blend has been designed. The background dissolves from a darker to a brighter tone with the help of an unobtrusive texture with gradient blending. To create this texture, apply the pattern.

 

 

ALGORITHM FOR USING THE PATTERN IN THE ADOBE PHOTOSHOP FILE IS AS FOLLOWS:

1/ Load the World of Warships pattern.

2/ Create a new layer and apply the following settings:

  • Fill Layer: White (#ffffff)
  • Opacity: 100 %
  • Fill: 0%
  • Blending Mode: Normal

 

3/ In the Layer Style dialog box, create a new layer style.

4/ Select Pattern Overlay, fill the layer with the pattern, set the required scale, and apply the following settings:

  • ​Blending Mode: Multiply

 

5/ Add layer mask and remove all unnecessary elements.

 

SPARKS AND FIRE

The Library contains a set of corporate spark and fire elements that enhance the product’s unique nature.

Corporate sparks and fire are only applied in Screen or Soft Light blending modes.
