Special localized versions of the identity elements are created for regions where Latin type is not used. Only if Latin type is prohibited in a region, the wordmark can be replaced with the local graphemes (letters, hieroglyphs, and syllabic signs). There are officially approved versions of the logo and motto localized into the Chinese Traditional and Chinese Simplified languages.
THE LOCALIZATION RULES OF IDENTITY ELEMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- The ratios and proportions of the wordmark, motto, and sign remain unchanged.
- Graphemes (letters, hieroglyphs, and syllabic signs) must be designed in a realistic manner, using the armor textures of the tanks with scratches, spots of oil, and signs of wear
